	About Kibbutz Misgav-Am Kibbutz Misgav-Am was founded on November 2nd, 1945, the day of the Balfour Declaration, and it was on this day that a group of youngsters from the Palmach climbed from Kibbutz Kfar Giladi to the very top of the Naphtali mountain. In the beginning of the kibbutz the population of the kibbutz was only built up by Israeli groups of youth organizations but in the late seventies new immigrants arrived from Europe, USA and South America. At the moment the total population of the kibbutz is approximately 280 people, which include children, members, residents and students. But efforts are being made to enlarge the population. Main projects for the coming ten years: * To reinforce the strength of the community. * Growth of the population : both in the added communal neighborhood as well as in the kibbutz itself. * Development of work providing sources and additional incomes.
